Tom Daley and James Corden
Tight squeeze: Smithy (James Corden) with Tom Daley

Clear the pool: James Corden tries to show Tom Daley how to dive for Sport Relief

2 Mar 2010

Gavin and Stacey's Smithy' (James Corden) is seen squeezing into his Speedos alongside London 2012 Olympic hopeful Tom Daley for a new sketch for Sport Relief.

Corden attempts to show Britain's world diving champion a thing or two about mastering the high dive.

The gobsmacking sketch follows on from his audacious pep talk to the England football team on last year's Red Nose Day, but this time he has even bigger Sport Relief ambitions.

Not only will it see him showing off his diving finesse, but Smithy will also discover a hidden talent for motivating a host of other sporting greats, including Manchester United players and Jenson Button.

Watch the video below to see a sneak preview of Smithy working the Manchester United players into a sweat.

is fat this funny ? James Corden better hope he never loses weight - he'll be finished for material. Like Lenny Henry and a whole career founded on being black and from Dudley, he might find his career sags like his jowls.
