Brad Haddin set to miss one-day series

26 Aug 2009

Australia wicketkeeper Brad Haddin has been ruled out of the NatWest series against England through injury.

Haddin will undergo an operation on the finger he broke during the Ashes series and will therefore miss the two Twenty20 matches and seven one-day internationals over the next month.

He returned to Australia immediately after the 197-run defeat to England in the fifth npower Test at The Oval, which condemned the tourists to their second successive Ashes loss on British soil.
