Fulham striker Bobby Zamora has rejected a £5million move to Hull.

Zamora, who last season scored just two goals in 35 appearances, was impressive as he netted twice in Fulham's 3-3 draw in a friendly at Peterborough on Saturday.

Hodgson said: "Bobby's had talks with Hull but at the moment he wants to stay with us and we're pleased about that.

"He will score goals this year. Last year he didn't, but strikers go through these periods. The fact is, he's a very good footballer and if he gets his eye in, as he's started to do now, he could score a lot of goals."

Hameur Bouazza could be on his way out of Craven Cottage. The winger has attracted interest from a number of clubs, with Greek Super League side Aris Salonika thought to be leading contenders for the French-born Algerian's signature.
