Pulis not deterred by Dean Ashton injuries

Stoke boss Tony Pulis is happy to take a £5million gamble on Dean Ashton despite the West Ham striker's injury record.
The 25-year-old has suffered with serious ankle problems during his time at Upton Park and missed the club's pre-season tour to China as he continues his rehabilitation.
However Pulis said: "You are always taking a risk with people who have had injuries.
"But we took Ricardo Fuller when nobody would touch him and I don't think he has missed a day's training. Dean is one of a number of players we've spoken to."
