Golden Danny Graham makes striking first impression for Watford

Danny Graham wants to score at least 15 goals for Watford this season after opening his account on his debut.

A tribunal made Watford pay Carlisle £200,000 for the forward, who is hopeful for the future after scoring in the 1-1 draw at home to Doncaster.

"I would be over the moon with 15 goals plus this season," said Graham.

"That would make me a bargain, wouldn't it? To score on my home debut is a bit special.

"Now I'm already off the mark my confidence is sky high."

Peter Ramage also scored a special goal on Saturday as Queens Park Rangers drew 1-1 with Blackpool.

The 25-year-old defender got on the scoresheet for the first time and said: "It's great to get my first ever goal. My mum and dad were here, so it was nice to do it in front of them."

Freddie Sears insists he can handle the physical force of the Championship following his Crystal Palace debut.

Sears, 19, is on loan from West Ham but it was Alan Lee who found the net in a 1-1 draw with Plymouth.

"I have not experienced Championship football, and I got kicked a few times," Sears said.

"But we only have 23 squad numbers here so I think that there is an extra responsibility for everyone to dig in and do your bit for the team."
