Roy Hodgson is angry that Russian visa restrictions prevented him going to watch Amkar Perm ahead of their Europa League play-off.

The Fulham boss had to scrap plans to see Perm at CSKA Moscow because the necessary travel visa would have taken too long to come through.

"I have strong opinions on this," said Hodgson. "When countries are going to play in European competitions, there should be special rules for football teams entering that country.

"We've based our team talks and our impressions of Perm on three videos which we've edited and cut and put together."

For the first leg at Craven Cottage Hodgson is likley to stick with the same starting line-up beat Portsmouth last Saturday. However, midfielder Damien Duff could make the bench after signing from Newcastle for £4million.
