FA decide not to punish Neil Warnock
20 Aug 2009Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has escaped punishment for his reaction following last weekend's clash at Bristol City but the Football Association have written to Simon Jordan asking him to explain his comments.
Palace were denied a perfectly valid goal by referee Rob Shoebridge during Saturday's Coca-Cola Championship match at Ashton Gate, leaving Warnock and club chairman Jordan furious.
It is understood that Warnock's comments were deemed as criticising the performance of the referee rather than a personal attack on Shoebridge.
The exceptional circumstances of the 'goal' were also thought to be taken into account.

We've all seen the "goal" that wasn't. THAT DECISION WAS THE DISGRACE IN THIS INSTANCE - NOT WARNOCK'S REACTION.
Warnock speaks his mind and is an honest manager. It might get up the noses of the pc brigade and new men in our midst, but who on earth listens to that po-faced bunch of hypocrites?

How DOES he keep getting away with it?
An absolute disgrace to football, always has been and always will be.
That's his actions I'm criticising, not the man himself.
Honestly.
