Tough tie: Martin O'Neill's side must overturn a first-leg deficit if they are to progress

Aston Villa will go on the attack, insists Martin O'Neill

27.08.09

Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has promised a bold approach to try and overturn the first-leg deficit against Rapid Vienna.

Villa lost last week's Europa League clash in Vienna 1-0 and know if they concede another goal tonight their chances of reaching the group stage will be seriously hit.

O'Neill said: "We will have to go with all guns blazing in the game mindful of the fact that then we might have to score three to win.

"It is a game to be careful about but we must not to be too cautious. We have shown in the past that we can come back from a deficit."
