Patrick Vieira is still on Harry Redknapp's transfer radar

Tottenham are considering making another bid to sign Patrick Vieira from Inter Milan in January.

Spurs tried to buy Vieira in the summer only for the deal to collapse after the midfielder admitted he couldn't join them because he'd played for their fierce rivals Arsenal for nine years.

But Tottenham understand that Vieira is still desperate to return to the Premier League and could change his mind about going to White Hart Lane if he doesn't get enough first team football in Serie A at Inter.

The 33-year-old was an unused substitute in Inter's goalless draw with Barcelona in the Champions League in mid-week and Spurs will continue to monitor his situation ahead of the next transfer window.

Vieira admits he is a huge fan of Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp and said: "I have a big respect for the manager. He is somebody I could work under because I really like the personality he's got and every player I know who has worked with him have been really happy."
