Benitez backs Liverpool to be kings of Europe again

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is determined to lead his side to Champions League glory once again and insists they 'can beat anyone'.

The high-flying Anfield outfit travel to Fiorentina tonight on the back of the 6-1 crushing of Hull but Benitez says the Serie A side will be more difficult to break down.

He said: "The Champions League is a very different and difficult competition, but we can beat anyone."

Liverpool are without pivotal midfield duo Javier Mascherano (sick) and Yossi Benayoun (thigh).

It is a crucial game for Fiorentina, who have not won at home in Europe in five attempts.

Stevan Jovetic will partner former Chelsea misfit Adrian Mutu in attack after Alberto Gilardino was sent off in the 1-0 defeat by Lyon.
