Ronaldo's not arrogant at all, claims Evra

Patrice Evra has defended Cristiano Ronaldo, denying his former Manchester United team‑mate is arrogant.
Ronaldo was a huge success at Old Trafford and has scored seven goals in six games since his £80million record transfer to Real Madrid in the summer but still attracts criticism.
Evra said: “He's not arrogant. He suffers as a result of his image as a fashion guy but he's the greatest professional I have trained with.”
The defender also backed Ronaldo over claims he goes to ground too easily when challenged.
He added: “When you look at the tackles he gets each game, well quite frankly the lad has reason to dive . . . if not he would break himself.”
Ronaldo will line up for Real in tonight's Champions League tie with Marseille at the Bernabeu.
