Getting shirty: Ryan Giggs celebrates after scoring against Arsenal

Ryan Giggs's greatest goals

1 Oct 2009

Following Ryan Giggs's 150th goal for Manchester United we pay tribute to the long-serving winger by selecting ten of his many great goals.

1. Goal against Arsenal FA Cup 1998/9

Definitely the most famous goal of the Welshman's career, he caps off a long mazy run through most of Arsenal's defence with a powerful finish into the roof of David Seaman's net.

2. Goal against Tottenham 1992/3

Giggs picked up the ball in the Tottenham half, danced round one tackle before putting the ball through the last defender's legs and rounding the keeper to finish from a tight angle.

3. Goal against QPR 1993/4

The goal that made everyone really stand up and pay attention to the young winger. Giggs dribbled through four defenders like they weren't there before knocking the ball past a helpless keeper.

4. Goal against Coventry 1992/3

The ball was headed away from the Coventry goal and Giggs brought it down with one touch before striking an unstoppable volley on the turn which bent into the top left hand corner via the post.

5. Goal against Chelsea 2004/5

A sadly irrelevant goal as United lost the game 2-1, but a superbly executed lob over Cech nonetheless.

6. Goal against Chelsea 1995/6

Another goal against Chelsea. He cut in from the left hand side and turned the defender inside out before stabbing a shot past the keeper.

7. Goal against Bradford City 2000/01

The Welsh Wizard terrorises a Bradford defender before beating the keeper at the near-post with a pin-point finish.

8. Goal against Deportivo 2001/02

He brings the ball in from the left wing, humiliates a defender with some quick footwork before slotting it past the keeper at the near-post.

9. Goal against Juventus 1997/8

The winger flew past two challenges before finishing perfectly in the bottom left hand corner, showing the world that he was by no means exclusively left-footed.

10. Goal against Liverpool 1993/4

Giggs scores a truly special lob over a stranded Bruce Grobbelaar in United's 3-3 draw with Liverpool.
