Wales not deterred by Gareth Bale fitness doubt
2 Oct 2009Wales have recalled Gareth Bale into their squad even though the Spurs defender has played just 95 minutes of football this season.
Bale, who had a knee operation in June, returned to action in the Carling Cup win over Preston last week and then appeared as a substitute against Burnley.
He last played for Wales against Estonia in May but has been called up for the World Cup qualifiers against Finland, on 10 October, and Liechtenstein four days later.
A Wales spokesman said: "We are just glad to have him back. Gareth has had so much bad luck with injuries since he moved to Spurs."
