James Henry says 'I am back to my best'

05.10.09

James Henry believes he is back to his best after he scored a stunning hat-trick in Millwall's 5-0 drubbing of Tranmere.

The winger - on loan from Reading - was delighted to make amends after a poor game last week against Yeovil.

He said: "I didn't have the best of nights on Tuesday, and I proved to myself what I can do."

Charlton battled for an excellent point in the 0-0 draw at League One leaders Leeds.

Boss Phil Parkinson said: “Early results suggest we both have a chance of promotion.”

ORIENT'S Scott McGleish scored the only goal in the win against his former club Wycombe.

Brentford were on the wrong end of a five-goal thriller as Swindon stole the points from Griffin Park.

Barnet thumped Grimsby 3-0 in an impressive display that takes the Bees level on points with Dagenham at the top of League Two.

Manager Ian Hendon was most please with his defence and said: “The most pleasing thing for me was the clean sheet.”

Dagenham dropped two points away at Hereford having come from a goal behind to salvage a 1-1 draw.
