Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres
Tough choice: Just who is better Didier Drogba or Fernando Torres?

Drogba v Torres

Will Robson
6 Oct 2009

There's been a lot of discussion recently about who is the better out of Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres. Torres is topping the goal scoring charts at the moment with 8 and Drogba has 6. Their importance to their teams is obvious, especially with Drogba as his presence is clearly missed during Chelsea's Champions League games. However, who is the better player?

Sunday's clash between Liverpool and Chelsea was seen by many as a chance to judge the two head to head. In that contest the power of Drogba clearly came out on top of the grace of Torres. However the differing playing styles of the two means that Drogba can do more on his own, using his strength, whereas Torres relies on good service and support from midfield meaning he needs a good performance from the rest of his team.

In order to solve, or fuel, this debate here is a collection of the players' best bits from the season so far.
