Tomas Rosicky
Moving on? Rosicky is already talking about finding a new club in January

Tomas Rosicky's Arsenal future fear

Tomas Rosicky has admitted he is in the dark about his future as he approaches the end of his contract at Arsenal.

Rosicky recently returned to first-team action after almost two years on the sidelines with a series of injury problems after originally damaging a hamstring in January 2008.

The Czech midfielder made his first start since that game in Arsenal's 6-2 win over Blackburn last Sunday, but with his current deal due to expire at the end of the season, Rosicky fears his time at Emirates Stadium may soon come to an end.

"I have spoken with Mr Wenger on this matter," said the 29-year-old Rosicky, who is part of the Czech Republic squad for their crucial World Cup qualifier against Poland on Saturday. "It is not the most current thing, though, and there are no negotiations running.

"Even if I haven't reached an agreement with Arsenal, I would still be able to find another club to play for in January - even though that might sound too self-confident.

"But there is no problem with my fitness. I think I am on the right course. The coach has gradually been applying the burden on me, and I feel it has been getting better and better."

Arsene please renew Rosicky's contract. He will add spice to the team once his had a few more games. We do not want another Flamini situation. He is a good back-up if you have injuries.

I think Arsenal fans need to be prepared for a re-shuffle in the summer and Tomas along with Cesc could one of a few departing. New era, Vermealen/Gibbs/Song/Ramsey/Denilson/Nasri/Diaby/Walcott/Wilshere/Bendtner/Vela. Keep some experience in Clichy/Sagna/Arshavin/RVP/Eduardo. New faces...Zapata/Defour/Hazard.

Whilst Tomas is indeed showing us his credentials in the last few games, it is premature to offer a new long term contract. Arsenal have paid his wages throughout his extended injury nightmare and now it is time to give something back to the club that has supported him through this period. To start talking of "other" clubs sounds very much like our former striker "Sadebayor". Tomas - we want you to stay, you are class.

Tomas must prove his fitness before another contract can be considered. He was out for too long to be given a new contract immediately.

Whilst he has had 2 years out through injury -this may extend his career. Tomas' ability to retain possession under pressure and deliver a killer pass is a key difference between last and this season. Even when not fully fit,he is a world class player who we must keep.

Please Arsene try and extend Rosicky's contract because with his current form the club needs him.
