Emmanuel Eboue today hinted he is happy to commit his future to Arsenal despite being linked with a host of top European clubs.

Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Fiorentina are all understood to have expressed an interest in the 27-year-old, who endured a torrid campaign last season after being baited by a section of Gunners supporters.

The Ivory Coast international (below) looked to be on his way out after appearing to wave goodbye to fans during a pre-season match but has since rediscovered his best form.

And after reports emerged that Atletico are preparing a £7million raid, Eboue said: "On this I just want to say thank you to my boss and the fans because they help me a lot.

"I was very disappointed with my performance last season but now I feel I'm doing well and I'm happy. I want to give my best for the fans."

Meanwhile, Wenger believes Theo Walcott will recover in time to play for England at the World Cup finals after being ruled out with knee ligament damage.

He said: "I believe Theo is worried about the World Cup but I don't think there's any reason to worry. He will be in the squad. He will be fit."
