Adam Pearson keen to clean up Hull finances

Returning chief executive Adam Pearson is believed to have launched an internal investigation into Hull City's finances after it was reported the club were £27million in debt.
When Pearson left the KC Stadium two years ago to join Derby and was replaced by Paul Duffen, Hull had £1m in the bank and a relatively modest wage bill of £3.5m a year.
Little more than two years later wages are now £40m-a-year, with Duffen believed to have spent a huge amount on agents fees.
"Everything I can see on those accounts looks to me as though it's solvable and I don't think there should be any dramatic panic about our financial situation," Pearson said.
