Flashpoint: Patrice Evra clashes with Chelsea groundsman Sam Bethell

Chelsea pack punch to KO our title hopes, says Patrice Evra

Patrice Evra admits Chelsea pose the greatest danger to Manchester United's bid for a record fourth consecutive Premier League title.

Evra is ready to line-up for the champions against Carlo Ancelotti's side this weekend and has more reason than most to be pumped up for the fixture.

It was Evra who was accused of instigating a mass brawl between United players and Chelsea groundstaff following a match between the teams in December 2008, earning him a £15,000 fine and a four-game ban.

And it was Evra who was poleaxed by Michael Ballack in the Community Shield in August and who reacted furiously when the Blues went on to score a goal with the Frenchman on the floor.

"When I play against Chelsea, every time something happens," the left-back said. "First it was the groundstaff then after in the Community Shield there was Ballack. But I have to make sure this time nothing happens.

"When people ask me which game I want to win this season the most it's the game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge because they are our most dangerous rival for the title.

"This is why we need to play a very intelligent game. You go there for a win but you have to make sure you don't lose."
