Phil Parkinson refuses to defend red Sam Sodje
23 Nov 2009Phil Parkinson admitted Sam Sodje deserved to be sent off in Charlton's 1-1 draw at Yeovil.
Sodje was dismissed for a crude lunge on Ryan Mason, yet his brother Akpo scored an equaliser to hand Charlton a point. Boss Parkinson said: "Sam had to go."
Millwall defender Tony Craig faces a lengthy spell out after fracturing his cheekbone and eye-socket in the 2-0 home defeat to Wycombe.
Brentford drew 1-1 with Walsall and boss Andy Scott said: "We didn't grab the game by the scruff of the neck."
Leyton Orient's Scott McGleish was pleased with their 2-1 win over Tranmere. He said: "We played really well."
In League Two, Dagenham went down 2-1 to Rochdale while Barnet drew 0-0 with Port Vale.
