Vedran Corluka staying at Spurs

24 Nov 2009

Vedran Corluka's agent has rubbished speculation linking the Tottenham defender with a move to Italian giants Juventus.

The 23-year-old Croatia international is a target for the Serie A outfit, according to the Italian press, but his representative insists he intends to stay put.

Mario Mamic said to www.tuttomercatoweb.com: "Juventus? He still has a five-year contract with Tottenham to respect."

On whether the Bianconeri or other Italian teams had shown an interest in the player, he replied: "No, because all teams, both Italian or foreign, know very well what is Tottenham's policy for players like him or (Luka) Modric."
