Neil Warnock has no fears he'll sort out Adel Taarabt

Adel Taarabt is one of those erratic players who can get a manager the sack and prompted one of the many previous Queens Park Rangers bosses to mutter about him: “He's not as good as he thinks”.

But new manager Neil Warnock won't be listening after Taarabt, on loan from Tottenham, scored a penalty and laid on Damion Stewart's goal in the 2-0 win over Plymouth last night.

Yet Warnock has still consulted Spurs boss Harry Redknapp and conceded: “He told me you'll be tearing your hair out at times. But I think I'm the type of manager he needs. He's working hard but has to add that to ability.”
