Laura Robson's feeling all grown up

Junior Wimbledon title contender Laura Robson has revealed how she is enjoying mixing with the seniors, even if she is overawed by one particular former champion.

Robson, the 15-year-old British prospect, is defending her girls' title this week but gets to use the senior locker room because she made her debut in the main women's event last week, losing in three sets to former world No5 Daniela Hantuchova, of Slovakia.

Having defeated Australian qualifier Sally Peers 6-3, 6-2 to reach the third round of the girls' singles, Robson said of her Wimbledon experience: "I'm enjoying the seniors' locker room, that's the best part. But I'm still a little scared of Serena Williams.

"She's a bit intimidating. She's just got this aura around her. When she's strolling down the corridor, everyone just moves out of her way."

Robson, seeded No2 in the junior event, faces Quirine Lemoine, of the Netherlands, in the last 16.

Tom Farquharson, a wildcard entry into the boys' singles main draw, went through to the third round after opponent Arthur de Greef, of Belgium, was forced to retire with the score standing at 6-0, 1-0 in favour of the British player.

Farquharson will now meet No3 seed Bernard Tomic.
