Bee Gees honoured with Mayfair plaque

09.05.08

The Bee Gees are to be honoured for their contribution to music with a commemorative green plaque at the home of their former manager Robert Stigwood.

Singer Robin Gibb, who will attend the unveiling ceremony at 67 Brook Street, Mayfair, tomorrow, said: "This location means a great deal to us and is somewhere we wrote a lot of our songs. This plaque should also act as a memorial to my brother Maurice [who died in 2003]."
