Wartime bomb stops the trains running on time

Two days of Tube delays are in store for passengers after an unexploded Second World War bomb was found in a river next to an Underground station.
The closures began last night and could continue into tomorrow as disposal experts deal with the device.
The suspected bomb was discovered on Monday in a river at Sugar House Lane, near Bromley-by-Bow station.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said closures would affect the District and Hammersmith & City lines, between Bromley-by-Bow and West Ham, the C2C line, travelling to and from Fenchurch Street, as well as a number of diversions on local bus routes.
Commuters have been advised to make alternative travel plans until further announcements.
A 200 metre area surrounding the device remains cordoned off with businesses near the site evacuated.
The spokesman said:"Military experts are at the scene and will remain on site until the device is deemed to be completely safe and is removed."
