Amy stays in hospital after passing out

Amy Winehouse is being kept in hospital for more tests after fainting at her Camden home.

Her father, Mitch, took her by taxi to the private London Clinic in Marylebone as a precautionary measure yesterday afternoon.

A spokesman for the 24-year-old singer said today that the initial tests had been inconclusive and she would be having more while being kept under observation. He continued: "She seems to be fine in herself, but they are taking their time to be sure."

Herhusband Blake Fielder-Civil, 26, is awaiting sentence for attacking a barman and then offering a bribe to cover it up. A source said: "Amy is not looking after herself and is under immense pressure at the moment with Blake in prison.

"This collapse was a real shock for her. Thankfully she came round shortly after she blacked out." There have been concerns about Winehouse's health for months after she was admitted to hospital with "severe exhaustion" last year.
