Heatwave to hit London

Summer is finally set to arrive with temperatures predicted to hit 30C in London by the end of the week.
The mini heatwave is expected to arrive on Wednesday as many schools begin summer holidays.
Temperatures in the mid-20s today and tomorrow will get warmer over the week, with the hottest conditions on Friday. If they hit 30C it will make it the hottest day so far this year.
A Met Office spokesman said: "The hottest weather in the UK is going to be in London, thanks to an area of high pressure to the east and some warm south to south-easterly winds."
