Pilot had no licence for easyJet

Two hundred passengers bound for the sun in Gran Canaria were told their flight was cancelled because the pilot's licence had not been renewed.
Travellers on the easyJet flight from Gatwick to Las Palmas were told there was "no crew" and that it would be five days before the no-frills airline could find them alternative seats.
Sarah Milton, 42, of Hampshire, on a holiday with four others, paid £89.99 a head for Monday's flight and had to pay £3,090 to fly with another airline. "It seems ridiculous that they coudln't find us an earlier alternative. We were absolutely disgusted," she said. easyJet apologised for the "administration error". Passengers will get a refund and can claim expenses incurred.
