Buy into the romance of Hugh Grant's bookshop

Fans of the romantic comedy Notting Hill now have the chance to own a piece of movie memorabilia real estate.
The flat above the travel bookshop where Hugh Grant's character first meets the actress played by Julia Roberts has been placed on the market. Writer Richard Curtis was inspired to create the story of a bookseller (Grant) who falls for a famous American (Roberts) after visiting the shop in Blenheim Crescent.
Although the real shop does not feature in the film, the intimate interior and blue frontage were copied in the set version. The flat's owner Sarah Anderson, 61, who opened the bookshop in 1981, says she has never been bothered by any of the thousands of film fans who visit the shop.
The flat is for sale with Kinleigh, Folkard & Hayward for £899,950.
