Ill Winehouse pulls out of concert

30.08.08

Amy Winehouse has pulled out of a concert in Paris due to illness, her publicist said.

The troubled singer did not attend the Rock En Seine festival in Paris after she was taken ill at her house in London and was unable to travel to France.

Her spokesman said: "Amy Winehouse was regrettably unable to perform at the Rock En Seine show in Paris tonight, Friday August 29th, due to illness. She was taken ill at her house and wasn't able to travel to France for the concert."

She was due to headline at the three-day festival, where the lineup included the Raconteurs, The Streets and Kate Nash.
