Police escape after car crashes into basement

Two police officers escaped with only cuts and bruises after their car smashed through railings and crashed onto the basement patio of a building early today.
The officers from Camden were responding to a call on blue lights and sirens when the driver lost control of the patrol car in Brunswick Square at about 4.45am.
Scotland Yard said they were treated in hospital for shock and cuts and bruises. No other vehicle was involved.
