Part 2 - Matthew d'Ancona, editor of The Spectator, talks about the leadership of Labour. Polly Toynbee, Guardian columnist, explains why she thinks New Labour is in a bad place.

Part 3 - Michael Gove, Shadow Minister for Education, discusses ideology, personalities and the commitment to democracy.

Part 4 - Martin Bright, political editor of the New Statesman, asks a question on the economy and the freemarket. The panel responds.

Part 5 - Roland Manthorpe, RSA, asks James Purnell about Labour's direction and battle of ideas. Adrian Rhapisini, an accountant, asks about pensions. Peter Murray, a reader, asks about the implementation of ideas.

Part 6 - Anne McElvoy asks James Purnell if he "thinks Gordon is being finished off". Michael Gove discusses immitating styles. Pippa Crerar, Evening Standard, asks about loyalty. David Ryan, a reader, asks about the electoral system we use and the role of the civil service. Phil Tinline BBC Radio, then asks about the centre ground.

Part 7 - Michael Gove talks about factions and electoral defeat, James Purnell responds. Polly Toynbee discusses leaders and candidates. In summary Anne McElvoy asks the panel if they think Gordon Brown will still be leader by Christmas.
