Elizabeth Hopkirk, Evening Standard

London singer Estelle will lead an international cast at the Mobos next month following her nomination for five awards.

The 28-year-old from Hammersmith will be joined on stage at Wembley Arena by stars from both sides of the Atlantic including John Legend and the Sugababes.

Legend signed Estelle to his Hometown Records label after being introduced by Kanye West. He said: "I am so happy that Estelle is nominated five times too. She is a huge talent and it has been great to be part of her story."
