The English National Opera is offering 10,000 tickets to see some of its hottest productions for only £10.

In an exclusive Tenner for a Tenor deal for Evening Standard Eros Card holders, seats across the house - from the dress circle through the upper circle to the balcony - are being made available at savings of up to £56 a ticket.

You can register for a free Eros Card at www.standard.co.uk/rewards if you do not already have one.

The productions include a revival of last season's sell-out Aïda, designed by Zandra Rhodes, and Cavalleria Rusticana & Pagliacci, with new libretti by poet Sean O'Brien and Billy Elliot writer Lee Hall.

There will also be the hugely popular production of Rossini's Barber of Seville and a new production of Mussorgsky's Russian epic Boris Godunov.

Loretta Tomasi, ENO's chief executive, said: "We think we have a very affordable pricing structure but people don't really know about it and we want to make them aware."

Aïda, Verdi's most popular opera, was ENO's biggest commercial success last year after Anthony Minghella's production of Madam Butterfly. It was the first new ENO production for 20 years.

Cav and Pag, as the two works are known, by Mascagni and Leoncavallo respectively, have just opened. They contain some of opera's most famous arias as well as music used in the films The Godfather III and Raging Bull.

Boris Godunov opens on 10 November directed by Tim Albery. It is about a 16thcentury Russian despot and is based on the novel by Alexander Pushkin.
