Beckham house staff held for theft

A COUPLE who worked as housekeepers at David Beckham's Hertfordshire mansion have been arrested for theft, it was revealed today.

The alarm was raised by the parents of his wife Victoria who saw items for sale on an auction website which were identical to property at the estate.

They went to the Beckhams' home in Sawbridgeworth, known as Beckingham Palace, found the same things were missing and called police.

Hertfordshire police said a 56-year-old woman and a man aged 55 had been arrested at home in Nazeing, Essex, in connection with a theft in Sawbridgeworth and released on bail.

A police spokesman said: “It seems that the property was being offered on the website to the highest bidder.”

The Beckhams bought the Grade II listed Rowneybury House for £2.6 million in 1999. It was formerly a council-owned children's home and the couple spent more than £3 million refurbishing it. Set in 24 acres, it houses an indoor swimming-pool, recording studio, snooker room, and a throne room, where the couple sat at their wedding in 1999.

That ain't football what he's minting all them bucks from! Football is a game where a strong man puts his hands between another man's legs and wrench the ball from him. Soccer uh? bunch of nukas playing with their legs, running with their legs. That ain't football you idiot Becky!

A throne room? This just goes to show how deluded and out of touch the greedy Beckhams really are especially when you consider the devastating economic mess the U.K is now in. Are members of the general public now expected to bow in their presence.
