Punch-up for £7-an-hour gardening job

TWO jobseekers had a fight outside an unemployment office over a job as a £7-an-hour landscape gardener.

Police are hunting the two men after the brawl outside the Jobcentre in Crawley, West Sussex, on Wednesday.

One of the men head-butted the other after being punched in the stomach when he said he was going to apply for the same job.

An onlooker said: "They were looking at the jobs on offer on the touch screen console.

"One saw the other was looking at the landscape gardener job. He said he wanted the job and the pair started shoving each other around. Then they ran off. One of them had a bust nose.

"It's not often you get a plum job come up, so when one does everyone wants it."

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses.

Why are the police looking for them? No one has complained and both guys are obviously happy to leave it be after a bit of argy bargy so why interfere?
