Obama lines up Gore as environment chief

Paul Thompson in Miami
9 Dec 2008

AL GORE was today in private talks with president-elect Barack Obama amid speculation he could be asked to join the new administration.

The pair were meeting at the transition office in Chicago where Mr Obama has been based since his election night victory. Mr Obama is a long-standing admirer of the environmental champion and former Democratic vice-president.

He has yet to appoint his energy or environmental secretary, both roles suited to Mr Gore. He could also be taken on board as an adviser.

In Mr Gore, 60, who won a Nobel prize for his efforts on the effects of climate change, and featured in the Oscar-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth, Mr Obama has one of the most recognisable figures on the issue.

At an event in Pennsylvania during his primary campaign, then-senator mr Obama was asked if he would bring Mr Gore into a cabinet position. He replied: "I will make a commitment that Al Gore will be at the table and play a central part in us figuring out how we solve this problem." Mr Obama's aides last night played down any talk of Mr Gore being made "energy czar", and that the meeting was to discuss how climate change "policies can stimulate the economy".

Sources close to Mr Gore hinted he was unlikely to want to return to government. But Mr Obama has proven persuasive in convincing senior politicians to join him after President Bush steps down, most notably Hillary Clinton who accepted the role of Secretary of State.

Mr Gore has also acted as an adviser to Gordon Brown on how Britain can help eradicate causes of global warming.

This process has clearly been prefabricated by the whole lot of them. The carbon tax system will create much needed capital to kick start the looming New World Army which will fall under the guise of the United Nations.

He aint nothing but a Gore Hound!!!

Al Gore - what on earth does this muppet - the one who can't even spell properly - actually know first hand about global warming or any sort of climate change? He's a grinning, hollow frontman for a social engineering policy. I might take his bleating about the poor Earth more seriously if he gave up his mansion and private flights. Meanwhile REAL environmental problems such as pollution and food degradation go largely ignored.

Get the number one Hoaxer on your team and that would be game set and match to mass hysteria, and the anti-capitalist mentalists. No answers yet from them on why the earth has not warmed for 9 years, and why there is more snow and ice in Greenland and Antarctica than 10 eyars ago.

Al Gore is the worst possible choice for anything to do with Global Warming as his theories are based on fraudulent information. He is currently being sued for fraud too. He is part of the Illuminati/ One World Government lot and they want to tax you to death to make themsleves richer! By the way, our planet is actually cooling again!!!! - scientific fact!

Dose anybody know that Al Gore is a member of THE CLUB OF ROME?

One of the many New World Order agendas of THE CLUB OF ROME is...... GLOBAL WARMING.

It is in the opinion of this New Free American that Al Gore dose not care about the environment and is simply executing orders for THE CLUB OF ROME.

Excellent choice in Al Gore. If the human race is to carry on as a species on this planet, some very large changes are needed -- and urgently. Gore has shown himself to be fully committed to slowing climate change, and been keenly involved with the subject since his university days. A great choice by Obama.

Just what Gore needs, a platform to spout his unscientific hysteria, which only results in higher taxes due to the gullibility of governments around the world that believe him.

I thought Mr Obama was to signal a new era for America. It seems his appointments indicate no change at all by enlisting all the old faces. Wheres the new ideas going to come from? This more like jobs for boys rather a new radical blast of fresh air.

As I suspected, all the old has-beens never-wasers are being re-installed, looks like this Obama is no better or worse than all his predecessors.

Obama will just be a figurhead, whilst all the old "Usual Suspects" will carry on as usual!
The status quo will continue!

Sad,............ennit?

Well that's an error of judgement already. Shame just because hi election slogan had the word "change" in it does not mean the same as Gore's discredited "change" based on innacurate science and biased interpretation.
