Fergie loses family photos in burglary

A LAPTOP owned by the Duchess of York containing hundreds of intimate family photographs has been stolen.

The computer, which was taken during a burglary in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire last Thursday, stored snaps of daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie and the duchess's ex-husband, Prince Andrew.

The images were stolen from Black Cat Sound and Vision where they were being downloaded and archived.

Although there is no suggestion the studio was targeted deliberately, family friends said the duchess, a keen amateur photographer, is very worried.

A source said: "The laptop contained pictures of her family and friends as well as snaps taken on her recent travels. The photographs are of a sensitive nature so she can't just take them along to her local shop to be printed."

Police sources say it is unlikely the thieves would have known the laptop was at the studio but warned that they could try to access the material held on it.

Sounds to me as though she's been victimized by the theft - and then again by subsequent comments by people who apparently haven't read the article.

Me being an ordinary 'pleb" - I put mine on memory sticks just to make sure I don't have problems like this, simple really.

Oh dear is she at it yet again. The 'sensitive nature' suggests that not all of those pics are kosher and she is not exactly known for her discretion. It was not mentioned if anything other than her laptop was stolen which opens up a thought about who she left the laptop with.
