Gang behind 24-hour drugs delivery service faces jail
Tom Lawrence22.12.08
A criminal gang that ran a lucrative drugs empire which offered a 24-hour crack cocaine service was today facing jail.
The 14-strong cartel used high-profile vehicles and delivery drivers to peddle Class A drugs around the capital. Gang members, who travelled in pairs and stored wraps of the illegal substance in their mouths, would wait for orders on their company "hotline" before visiting clients at discreet locations in the City and Tower Hamlets.
In an effort to go unnoticed by police, the outfit rented expensive cars such as Saabs and Mercedes. The dial-a-drug service was laid bare by detectives after a lengthy undercover operation. The men will be appearing at Snaresbrook crown court for sentencing today after pleading guilty to supplying crack cocaine last month.
Nadimul Islam, 32, Rezaul Islam, 25, Shah Ahmed, 23, Aminul Islam, 20, Abdul Salam, 21, Nazimul Islam, 27, Shahen Ahmed, 18, Ruhel Miah, 24, Mohammed Saidur Rahman, 22, and Ruhel Uddin Ahmed, 21 - all from Tower Hamlets - were all found guilty of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
Fellow gang members Jahangir Alom, 22, of Whitchapel, Rema Foa, 21, of Hackney, Ashratul Islam, 27, from Bethnal Green, and Sharif Ahmed Choudry, 21, from Dagenham, pleaded guilty to the same offence.

I highly appreciate the letter of Koe, Tower Hamlets. the peoples and meida is suffering my Islamicphobia day and night they are publishing against Islam and Muslim whay about the other religion they all are innocent and crimeless. Pls come forward and say the truth otherwise all will suffer.Discourage the crimes at all front and community. Authority should smash such gangs at early stage...at deal with iron hand so the other should learn a lesson.

I am a Muslim Bangladeshi, I know this statement sounds disgraceful but you cannot blame the Muslim religion.
I can come out with who puts the drugs in UK, English People do, Black people do, Chinese people do!!!! But we have that respect for others, seems like Sylvia, Epping. Essex doesn't, you can not just judge the people because of the media influence, after the 9/11.
Everything does not revolve around Islam or the Muslim community.
Epping suffers Poverty as statistics show and alot of white male do alot of drug dealing, do we blame them??...NO!!!
Get your facts correct before blaming ISLAM

Last year on Newsnight l heard Nick Griffin of The British National Party say that most of the drugs coming into Britain are connected to the Muslim comunity. He was called everything under the sun. Re: Andy There is no benifit of immigration. We've allowed the world and his wife into this country, and boy are we paying for it. The no go areas are spreading outwards, and most of us feel like strangers in our own country. Who's to blame? Labour and the Conservatives that's who. Big business is kind to them if they allow immigrants in so they can pay a pittance. That's why they don't want the 48hr week, they would have to hire more people or pay bigger salaries. And don't forget gratefull immigrants spraying their votes around. Disgarceful.
