Another unmade bed receives the Saatchi treatment
Louise Jury, Chief Arts Correspondent7 Jan 2009
A 26FT-LONG bed on which a giant slobs out with a cigarette, surrounded by beer cans, crisps and notebooks was installed at the Saatchi Gallery today.
Will Ryman said his huge papier mâché work, The Bed, was "somewhere between Sunday morning lie-in bliss and nervous breakdown". The New Yorker's depiction of slacker idleness will be on show from next Tuesday until 6 May. Ryman said: "I remember as a child my parents' bedroom and having the impression of their bed being much bigger than it actually was."
Previously, Charles Saatchi has displayed Tracey Emin's infamous My Bed in his collection.

How nice that the Saatchi clan has a gallery in which to show their choice of art. At least they don't have to LIVE with it! And isn't it just too cool to know that you are an arbiter of artistic taste without having the prove you actually like the stuff.
