Kramer quits Clegg team
Nicholas Cecil, Chief Political Correspondent8 Jan 2009
LIBERAL Democrat MP Susan Kramer has left Nick Clegg's top team to focus on fighting the expansion of Heathrow.
Mrs Kramer, the MP for Richmond Park, is battling to stop Tory ecologist Zac Goldsmith from winning her seat, which she holds with a 3,731 majority. She has stepped down as spokeswoman for the family and the Cabinet Office.
In other changes, Mr Clegg's leadership rival Chris Huhne loses the justice brief but remains home affairs spokesman, and Simon Hughes replaces Steve Webb as climate change spokesman. Mr Webb returns to the work and pensions brief and Jenny Willott moves from this post to the Cabinet Office role.

Clegg might just as easily appoint Donald Duck as Farming spokesman for all the use these appointments will mean.
