Prince Harry was partying with Chelsy Davy lookalikes as his five-year relationship with her fell apart, it emerged today.

The girls who bore a striking resemblance to the Zimbabwean heiress were his twin cousins Eliza and Katya Spencer, 16, who have been brought up in South Africa.

They were pictured leaving the Troubadour Club in Earl's Court with Harry, 24, two weeks ago.

Hearing South African accents, many photographers shouted “Chelsy”.

Friends of the prince today told how “uncomfortable and upsetting” he found the mix-up as he knew his real relationship was on the rocks.

Harry confided in his cousins that a break-up was likely. Days later he and Chelsy, 23, split up.

Those close to them say the break-up is “mutual and amicable”, but both of them are “very sad”.

Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton, 26, has been in touch with Chelsy to offer her condolences and support.
