Damilola accused 'is drug dealer'

A THUG who sued the Met after being cleared of murdering Damilola Taylor used his £27,000 payout to set up a drug-dealing business, it was alleged today.

The 21-year-old, known as Boy D, relocated to Solihull after receiving money for the "hurt" caused to him and his family.

West Midlands Police received a tip-off and carried out a raid last Friday. He was remanded in custody charged with possession with intent to supply speed and possession of cannabis.

In 2002, Boy D and three others were cleared of murdering Damilola, 10, who was stabbed to death in Peckham in 2000. Boy D was later accused of raping two girls with Danny and Ricky Preddie, but the case was thrown out. The Preddies were jailed for eight years in 2006 for the manslaughter of Damilola.
