A little romance? YSL has Valentine's Day in the bag

Love is...a free Yves Saint Laurent bag. For the romantically inclined - or just plain skint - Yves Saint Laurent is giving away 2,000 bags and heart-shaped USB ports in central London tomorrow in celebration of St Valentine's Day.

The giveaway will begin at 11am, in Knightsbridge, Covent Garden, Bond Street and Kensington High Street.

The black cloth tote bags, which are emblazoned with a bold white "YSL" logo, will be handed out to lucky passers-by along with the fourth issue of the brand's Manifesto, a 20-page booklet featuring images from Yves Saint Laurent's new spring advertising campaign.

Shot in black and white as well as colour, the campaign stars Claudia Schiffer in various looks from YSL's spring collection, including the £905 "cage boots" which go on sale next month and already have a waiting list stretching into the hundreds.

Previous stars of the ad campaigns include Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bündchen.

Fans of the brand lucky enough to snap up either the bag or the USB port, can be assured both will go on to be collector's items.

"heart-shaped USB ports"

I think you meant "heart-shaped USB memory sticks". Another source states: "The fashion house will be uploading the photoshoot by Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin onto a heart-shaped USB flashdrive."
