Two teenagers were stabbed to death in separate incidents in London on Thursday night, police said.
A 19-year-old was attacked in Wealdstone shortly after 7.30pm and, three hours later, an 18-year-old was killed near a railway station in Stratford.
No arrests have been made but detectives have detained five teenagers in connection with the stabbing of three boys in Chingford on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old was found with stab wounds by a member of the public at around 10.30pm near Maryland railway station in Leytonstone Road, Stratford. Police and paramedics attended and found him suffering from a stab wound to the torso.
He was taken to the Royal London Hospital but died shortly afterwards. Scotland Yard said the teenager's family have been informed and a post-mortem is due to take place.
The 19-year-old was found stabbed to death earlier at High Weald Service Station in Wealdstone. He is yet to be formally identified. Another 19-year-old man also suffered stab wounds in the incident and was said to be in a stable condition.
Susan Hall, deputy leader of Harrow Council, said: "This is the first fatal stabbing in Harrow for a significant amount of time. We want to reassure the community that this is a very rare occurrence."
The murders happened after three teenagers were stabbed in a suspected gang fight in Chingford. The boys, aged between 16 and 17, were attacked in Kings Road on Wednesday.
Trails of blood were found in the street, close to a nearby doctor's surgery, and on a number 212 bus. Scotland Yard said five youths, aged between 15 and 19, have been arrested.
A spokesman said: "The five are currently in custody at an east London police station."

People don't commit crimes just because there are too few police on the streets, so adding more police will not stop crime. Nevertheless, eleven years for murder? Murder is a crime whether you're 16 or 60: there should be no leniency just because he's 16.
