THE report into the "nannygate" allegations against Tory frontbencher Caroline Spelman was finally delivered to MPs today.
Parliamentary Standards Commissioner John Lyon handed over the results of his nine-month inquiry into claims the shadow communities secretary spent Commons allowances on a nanny. The Standards and Privileges Committee decided to give MPs more time to assess the report before publishing its own final verdict, a week on Thursday.
