Obama shortlisted for two book prizes

President Barack Obama appears twice on this year's Galaxy British Book Awards shortlist.
He is nominated as Borders author of the year for The Audacity Of Hope, which outlines his political and personal values.
Dreams From My Father, his memoir of his early life and African-American heritage, is a candidate for Tesco biography of the year. The awards cover commercial bestsellers and literary prize-winners and are decided by a mix of industry, academic and public voting. Paul O'Grady, Julie Walters and Dawn French are also contenders for best biography.
