Harman: I don't want PM's job
Nicholas Cecil12 Mar 2009
Commons Leader Harriet Harman was today forced to deny that she is positioning herself to replace Gordon Brown.
Ms Harman is seen by many MPs as already manoeuvring to build greater support in the Labour Party for a possible challenge to be leader if the Tories win the next election.
However, today Labour's deputy leader dismissed Tory accusations that she wanted the Prime Minister's job.
Questioned on this by shadow Commons leader Alan Duncan, she stressed: "I say to you ... there is not one shred of truth, not one iota of truth in any of the suggestions that have been made."

Any aspirations you might have are irrelevant Harriet - you and all your corrupt colleagues will be kicked out of office at the next election.

Does she really expect us to believe that she is not in the least bit interested in having all of that power. I smell porkies.

How funny. The only person who could possibly be even more inept than the Brown is actually likely to be chosen by Labour. Wonderful!

The one indisputable truth about Nu-Labour is that they are incapable of telling the truth.

We don't want you to have it either; in fact we don't want the PM to have his job either. We want someone to look out for the interests of the British people, to care for old age pensioners, to foster a generation of young people to have pride in their country and want to achieve goals. The last PM was more interested in trying to achieve status on the international arena and this one dithers. What a shower.

Thank goodness HH has come out with a clear statement and save the Party having to vote her into last place should there ever be an election for the job.
