Britons robbed by Benidorm bouncers

18 Mar 2009

POLICE in Spain have arrested four bouncers accused of beating up a British couple and robbing them of nearly £200,000 of jewellery as they lay unconscious.

The holidaymakers told detectives they were attacked by four men outside a pub in the tourist resort of Benidorm. When they came to they found several diamond-encrusted items were missing along with £20,000 in cash.

Ridiculous, i know all the bouncers here in Benidorm and although they can be a bit heavy handed at times they dont rob people. Nobody brings that kind of cash for a holiday. Its so made up. They should have picked a lower figure for it to be beleivable. No-one goes out with more than 150 quid for a night out so why would anyone have 20k.

Who goes on holiday to Benidorm of all places with around 200k worth of jewellery?! Was it the King of Bling?
