Immigration raids net £3m

NEARLY £3 million in cash has been recovered and a number of arrests made during counter immigration crime raids.

UK Border Agency officers discovered the cash stuffed inside suitcases at a Rotherhithe address. Two Chinese men, aged 29 and 27, and two Chinese women, aged 29 and 25, were arrested.

Two Bangladeshi men, aged 34 and 33, were arrested at a Whitechapel address and a male British citizen aged 60 was arrested in Stamford Hill.
